Mesh Weave

You are here:

Mesh is available in both plain weave and twill weave. Most manufacturers specify the weave type in their mesh specification guide. Plain weave is a one-over-one weave to define how the weft and warp threads cross over one another. However, twill weaves may be woven as one-over-two or two-over-two weaves. Twill weave is typically stronger than plain weave, but should never be used when attempting to print detail or halftone work. The twill weave often causes moiré patterns to appear in the printed image.
