We are dedicated to the advancement of the specialty printing community and related industries, providing research and development, reports, product evaluation, and services.

Purpose

The primary purpose of SPTRC is the advancement of the various segments within the specialty printing technologies.

SPTRC is actively working to make screenprinting technologies increasingly competitive and more cost-efficient.  Through its hands-on workshops, innovative training resources, and focused research agenda, the Research Center can help you develop a staff of knowledgeable and efficient individuals, making your business more productive and profitable.

Publications: Our Publications Department produces books and magazines for screenprint technologies. We currently list over 80 books and two magazines; Solutions Journal and Screenprint Research Journal.

Screenprint Process Model: We identified 620 variables that affect the finished print and have laid them out in a convenient wall-sized poster.

Work Instructions: SPTRC has created 28 Work Instructions that are available for download online. They are available in English and Spanish.

Guidelines: SPTRC’s agenda includes projects aimed at providing guidelines for specific production concerns. Research Publications provide professional expertise for improving your productivity and profitability.

Troubleshooting Guides: provide solutions to some of the most common issues.
