In 2005, we begin offering retreats in Mexico City and Cuernavaca, Mexico. They proved to work so well — providing a different environment, with no interruptions — we have now expanded our offerings to provide corporate retreats for both teams and individuals in organizations. And, we offer a variety of locations worldwide, whether in one of the large cities of the world or on a remote beach. We will put together the most beneficial package that will bring outstanding benefit to you, your staff and your entire organization.

We can provide additional speakers on any topic related to business or the screenprinting process. Our associates include experts in every field of the screenprinting technologies. We make all the arrangements for you and all you have to do is show up with your team.

We have experience of designing and facilitating corporate retreats internationally. Often these are in exotic locations, either in the host country or abroad. Held in comfortable surroundings away from the normal workplace. We have held events in several locations in Mexico, in Guatemala, China, Canada, India, England, Philippines, and elsewhere. Whether on a remote sunny beach in Mexico, when it’s miserably cold back home, a Texas ranch, a California golf course, in the beautiful old town of Antiqua, Guatemala or your own fantasy. You pick the place and we make it happen.

The value of corporate retreats is that they remove your team from outside distractions for a sufficient length of time to contemplate strategic issues, including the team’s own skills development. And, in most instances they are a complete tax write off for the organization.

Corporate retreats help to solidify a business owner, management team or staff members, while enhancing its effectiveness by giving members time to get to know each other and to do long-range or strategic planning for the organization. A regular dedicated time spent at a corporate retreat off-site and away from distractions should be considered essential.

We act as your facilitator

The presence of an independent facilitator, briefed by the team leader, ensures that time is well spent and all individuals are able to participate fully.  This is also an excellent opportunity to bring in external expertise or to introduce scenarios arising from technical issues.

In many organizations having annual corporate retreats is routine, for progress reviews, strategy and budget preparation, or for ‘blue sky’ thinking. For teams whose members are based at different sites, the residential element is an important feature.

Professionally run, a facilitated corporate retreat pays dividends. It is the best investment for the continued success of any organization.

Your Retreat

Each retreat is individually designed in conjunction with the client and is flexible enough to respond to issues as they arise. We provide a curriculum around your needs and wants and involve your entire team in analysis, creativity and action planning.

Retreats tend to combine team-building with strategy matters. Here are some examples of the sort of things we have included in the past: –

  • Personal aspirations and outcomes for the retreat
  • Personal introductions and aspirations
  • Communication exercise
  • Strategy development
  • Vision, mission, and values
  • Scenario planning
  • Modelling the current organization
  • Designing the future organization
  • Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats analysis
  • Technology, Customers, Competition, Regulatory and Environment analysis
  • Political, Environmental, Economic, Sociological and Technological environments analysis
  • Brainstorming
  • Setting well-formed outcomes
  • Balanced business scorecard
  • Psychometric profiling and feedback
  • Action planning, reporting systems and contracting
  • Introduction of specific ideas, exercises or publications

In addition to workshop activities, meals together and a complete break from the mundane, with some outdoor activity are excellent bonuses that allow the mind to consolidate the learning and be more creative, and board members to relax together.

We can find you the ideal retreat venue – quiet, remote, or luxurious. UK, Europe or overseas. We have facilitated in city hotels, country house hotels, on boats, Texas ranches, mountain lodges – and included activities such as walking in the countryside, mountain biking, horseback riding and white water rafting. And lots of thought-provoking indoor activities too. And there is always golf!

Why are corporate retreats so powerful?

Day to day, you work under pressure, little chance to spend quality time with your colleagues. Whether your objective is to get to know each other better, to build a team to work together better, to be more innovative, or to get down to work on your strategy, you will achieve much, much more if you get away, change the environment and allow time for the process.

For projects such as, business planning, strategic planning, and budgeting, scenario planning, uninterrupted time is essential. For some, confidentiality is also needed. For some, just a change of environment is enough to make a difference.
